Am I a gemologist?

No. Not yet.
I’ve completed basic gemology training at SSEF (Swiss Gemological Institute) and I’m currently exploring the next steps in formal gemology education.

Where do I live and what do I do?

I live in Switzerland—and I love it! I'm originally from Athens, Greece.
Right now, I’m creating gemology content while taking a break from the corporate world.

Where do I find all these gems?

Some were already in my collection, others I found on random online shops or Etsy. But most of my gems come from private sellers and collectors. That’s how I’ve built such a diverse and fascinating collection.

What is my background?

Educational publishing and Pharma.

I’m a “multifaceted” marketer and trained graphic designer, with experience across digital marketing, branding, content creation, and management.

My studies include:

• BA in Business Administration

• MA in Marketing

• Graphic Design School

• CAS in Digital Marketing

• And most recently, basic gemology training at SSEF—which was the cherry on top!!

Is it gemology or gemmology?

Both "gemology" and "gemmology" are correct—it's just a matter of regional spelling.

Gemology → American English

Gemmology → British English
